What's This About?

Like her brother before her, Rebecca is, in my opinion, exhibiting quite an artistic eye. Brian impressed me with his composition skills, both in drawing and in the photographs he made with my camera. I like to think his current video endeavors are the resultant outgrowth of the still camera I gave him a few years ago, though I accept that it all stems from his fascination with YouTube. Nevertheless he's a decent cinematographer for someone who's not even fourteen.

Rebecca is a child of the digital age, so when she picked up Sharon's camera this Sunday, I was able to see right away she was creating something special. Sharon made me a disc, and I selected a few, and took the liberty of putting my words in her voice.

And if she wants to put her own words here, we can certainly sit down and write her story.

This is my Uncle Neil.

...but he didn't think me using his camera was a good idea. It's too heavy, anyway.




Aunt Sharon, on the other hand, was in no position to argue.

She let me use her camera. She lets me do everything!

Aunt Sherry vs The Sunday Times

Well, it started as a photo essay of my Aunt Sherry doing the Sunday New York Times crossword puzzle, but then I realized how BORING! it is to watch someone doing a crossword puzzle. Besides, mom and Aunt Sharon and Uncle Neil looked like they were having more fun.

This is my Uncle Kenny. He's a lot of fun. Do you notice anything funny about his hat?

This Camera Stuff is Fun!

Uncle Neil tries to teach me about stuff like "framing" and "composition".

He also likes to make sure the lens is clean.
